Here is a veritable festival of rollicking possibilities in Oribe-glaze pottery. Toda Yumiko unveils new departures in this genre, including yohen kiln effects, that seasoned aficionados will find refreshing and that visitors new to Oribe-glaze work will find inviting. All will enjoy, too, her offerings in Kiseto (yellow Seto) and in kohiki (white slip).
